The regulationsabout 3-d festival Moscow open are aproved and the winning prize has increased more than twice compared to 2006.
Organizars guarantee enough foreign professional chess players will take part in the festival. Open A games – first 20 boards - will be broadcasted in the Internet on-line!! There are more than 500 players in open „A“ and „B“ !!The best players

553 players take part in Open “A” and “B”: 56 grandmasters (7 women), 71 masters (8) and 68 FIDE masters (24)… The Russian players are the most numerous at the tournament – 501 chess players. There are 21 players from Ukraine, 4 from Moldavia, 3 from Azerbaijan; 2 from Uzbekistan, Georgia and Latvia… Twenty two countries take part in the festival.The situation grew doubly hot each moment Photo review about the 7th day  The situation on Moscow Open 2007 grew doubly hot each moment – final is coming up and every point is worth gold. No wonder the real fight was in the 6th tour: it was only two draws at the first 15 tables. But the most interesting games took place at the first 2 tables…  Evgeniy Najer vs Yaroslav Ulko  Alexander Ryazantsev vs Pavel Smirnov   Najer and Ulko have a rapid game. Smirnov is not shaken! Pavel can hardly repress a smile after his victorious move. And Ryazantsev can’t resign.  It is done! One of the most impressive climax of tournament. Black pieces get a white pawn past them to their king. Chernyshov sacrificed quality on e4, and the queen on g5. Bravo, Smirnov!!  Public attention was attracted by the 1st table. There Najer was scarifying pieces, saving only minimum to mate.  Evgeniy is the best: white save only one queen and a rook. In this situation one can be sit everyone. Ulko resigned. His start was so impressive but he didn’t manage to win the game against Najer. But he still has a chance on this tournament?   The 7th day was full of smiles and expectations. The win of the first Moscow Open Farrukh Amonatov and grandmaster from Moldova Dmitriy Svetushkin   But Yuriy Yakovich and Vasiiy Emelin sitting at the 1st tables have no reason to smile  Konstantin Chernyshov worked as a journalist at the morning taking interview to Vasiliy Zhukov, the head of RSSU, and some hours later he has become one of the leader of the tournament in the game against Pavel Smirnov.  Chernyshov to Smirnov: “Hello, grandmaster”  Vladimir Malakhov is on the horizon  New comers: Valeriy Yandemirov and Alexey Korotylev have escaped the defeat. The Moscow Open strategy is to win!  The accuracy of Timur Gareev and Vadim Zvyagintsev is in their way to the top.  Will Alexey Dreev win in the game against grandmaster from Ukraine Mikhailo Alexeenko?   Smirnov and Najer have 11 victories in 12 games in two...  Smirnov: “Get and sign!”  Malakhov and Najer are starting the game!
