The regulationsabout 3-d festival Moscow open are aproved and the winning prize has increased more than twice compared to 2006.
Organizars guarantee enough foreign professional chess players will take part in the festival. Open A games – first 20 boards - will be broadcasted in the Internet on-line!! There are more than 500 players in open „A“ and „B“ !!The best players

553 players take part in Open “A” and “B”: 56 grandmasters (7 women), 71 masters (8) and 68 FIDE masters (24)… The Russian players are the most numerous at the tournament – 501 chess players. There are 21 players from Ukraine, 4 from Moldavia, 3 from Azerbaijan; 2 from Uzbekistan, Georgia and Latvia… Twenty two countries take part in the festival.The flight is right… Photo report about the 6th day of the festival.  The 6th round, the flight is ok, everyone is in a good mood! Almost every face in the main hall is familiar, there are always people with whom you can exchange jokes, discuss current news and then sit at the table to play chess…   The moscovites and capital’s guests. Camera and not alone correspondents became important part of the festival!  More attention pays to Sasha Ryazantsev which plays on the first tables and photos with him look very well...  Pavel Smirnov is expected winner of the conditional prize “The most exiting come back”. Lost the first game playing by white pieces but won four other games and came back to his honest second table.  Whose wish to win will be stronger? And if nobodies? What? Are you speaking about draw? Don’t even think about it!  Free the road for the leader!   Chess is not a bicycle sport, here yellow t-shirt changes for the orange pullover...  Najer: “What are my rivals doing?”   Moscow’s “mm” Yaroslav Ulko who is the everyday visitor of blitz-club on Yakimanka plays “the tournament of his life”: his never got “+4” among 60 gross masters.
